This is a pressing with merits by a musically attractive group. Admittedly, the groove
is not as silent as I would have wished for, a fact which seems to produce unwanted
artifacts of weak strength in the right channel, but the choices made by the cutting
engineer still have lead to a pressing of interesting qualities.

In comparision to the cutting by Arun Chakraverty, the present nameless engineer,
signing as 'jHE', has subjectively chosen a slightly stronger treble setting for the lathe.
It is only one of a handful settings the engineer must decide upon, all legitimate!

To my ears the purcussion instruments now gain in character based on his choice.
The musicians in this group of artists know how to marvel in some passage work,
depending on their selection of percussion instruments, and with this pressing
I find myself observing lively details which are adding to my joy.

In short, this pressing will continue to take turns with the other European and
Canadian pressings in my possession. I can only hope that some Portuguese
member here at Discogs could be inspired to spend some time in identifying
the enigmatic engineer 'jHE'. He or she is clearly a skilled sound engineer
worthy of credits, and it would be rewarding to find more of those discs!
