Does anyone have any info on the front cover photo, it has intrigued for years. Is it a band member or something completely different? Its pretty unsettling and actually made me purchase the album some 40 years ago.

I love this comp, great songs, awesome production. Great Social Distortion tracks, this version of Telling Them is vastly superior to the Mommy's Little Monster version. Red Cross does an excellent cover of Puss n' Boots and 45 Grave deliver stellar tracks.
This is a California classic.
