Notes
From the sticker on the front of the packaging:
This collection of extremely diverse recordings features LIVE, ADVANCE, RARE, and mostly EXCLUSIVE tracks by Michigan artists.
What started out as a CD to document the local Experimental, Noise, Electronic, and Space Rock music in the Detroit area quickly grew into this four CD (and bonus DVD-R) box set, which expanded to include artists from all around the state... even featuring a collaboration with a Japanese noise great, as well as one track dating back to 1967!
Four CDs hold nearly five hours of music, and a bonus DVD-R was ultra compressed to bring you almost 3 hours worth of live performances from the Ear Candy Festival, held at Stormy Records in Dearborn during the 2004 Valentine's weekend.
All proceeds will support 89.3 WHFR.fm, the non-commercial, student-run station at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan.
