For the record, this album plays the "Speak & Spell" version of I Sometimes Wish I Was Dead, not the flexi version.

I'd suggest the Depeche Mode title should not be retitled but was intentionally different to the regular Depeche Mode release as the flexipop!

A kind of "Holy Grail" of new wave bands. A lot of the material here has never been released anywhere else, as most tracks that have appeared later have been either been transferred from flexi or remixed later on, for example, Blondie's "Yuletide Throw Down" is a completely different version than what has been released in their most recent "Against The Odds" compilation. This is a very rare record that, although a UK promo, was as far as I know, actually never released as a promo in the UK and was made to promote Flexiopop! in the states. Flexipop! soon folded so this is a definite archive of some lost grooves. Of note the flexis, if in mint condition may actually give a more bolder sound than this record, it's not bad sound on here, but don't expect silent audiophile vinyl either, not unlike one of those Debut Magazine LP's.
