They included the track from 1961 to just have it so the comp looks all inclusive? What happened between 1964 and 1996? Did Turkey not exist? Was there no music? Seems a bit misleading to do this and have the buyer believe that this includes things between '61 and the 2000's, when in reality there is only a single song that gives them the ability to use this title. Why not just call it "An Anthology Of Turkish Experimental Music"? Why? I think its because they know that modern classical and musique concrete doesn't sell, and a lot of it isn't very good. Experimental music from the modern age is a little boring because of the limitless tools at our availability, its more interesting to see what these crazy turks did in the 70's and 80's with limited resources. I give this comp a low score because it is a musique concrete/drone compilation disguised as an experimental 3rd world music comp.
