Reviews
Fans called this one of the holy grails of Italian jazz. I actually give it a B+. It’s not that the performances are bad, but they are not nearly as inspired as some of the other records being put out at the same period. Franco Tonani’s later Library music is far more interesting. Yet this LP still changes hands for €€€, often sight unseen. May I recommend Sandro Brugnolini or Giorgio Gaslini instead?
