Reviews
- RIP Sinéad. I love this LP! While I do think that "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got" is a great and iconic album, "The Lion and Cobra" is no slouch. For a debut album, Sinéad knocked it out of the park! I'm not sure how anyone can think this pressing is flat, my copy is full of detail and great separation. The LP is also extremely quiet. The prices of the LP are still reasonable and I would highly recommend grabbing a copy while everyone is trying to get "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got". Big A+!
- Songs are killer, but pressing sounds flat and dead. The music of Mandinka could sound like ear candy, but just plain old flat here. Keep looking.
- Thought this was missing from my collection but found tonight....pleased to find my copy not in the Os...one of two lps I bought back in the 80s on first listen at the record store (Bascom Ave Tower Records Cambell CA..)
- What a debut album! Just bought it this weekend and don't regret it at all...especially for $15 at my local record store.
