Notes

An ironic thought: Disco, considered to be a mere fad in the 70's. Commercialized & exploited by the establishment in such movies like Saturday Night Fever & T.G.I.F. Yet today we still hear the echoes of that "fad" in todays dance music (Hint: sampling) To continue the fad we bring you Ruff Disco Volume One . . . and we do mean Ruffffffffffff ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Crazy, how many tracks are catchy. Love most of them. Definitely get your hands on this, if you can!

This is the sound everyone tries to imitate today and sadly fails at. When i first heard this recently i could not stop listening to it prior to other copycats who adds nothing. Lot´s of clever sampling, rough beats and heavy baselines that sounds just as fresh considering how dance music (is supposed to) sound today. Yet it´s quite timeless in sound.

Fantastic double ep. I purchased this when it came out and for years was a bit disappointed with its muddy production and ruff edited nature. How wrong I was.

Fantastic Album of the one and only - extremely talented Dj Nature. You can easily put him next to Moodymann, he's not the hype, he's the real deal
