Found a sealed one a couple of weeks ago, tested it today... it blew me away, absolute fantastic sound, quiet from start to finish, no noise no disturbing crackle or anything like that. Superb heavy flat vinyl.
I am very happy that i bought it - but i will still go out hunting for the first pressing... cheers.

Yeah, "Cluster One " is messed up, specially on the left channel. Had problems with the whole A side: Two skips on track 2 and one in track 3.

Presentation is fine and sound quality is great. Loving the remaster, had never noticed the drums until now. Pressing is quiet and has great quality otherwise.

That's true, "Cluster One" has a lot of sibilances. Nice pressing otherwise.

I went for a rummage at my local shop today on my dinner and found a solitary copy of this - so had to take it home.

I love floyd , they are right up there at the top of my all time favourite bands , their 70s albums are my all time favourites but ive always been fond of these later ones which are essentially gilmour albums ... i always thought of them as some fluff with a few brilliant tracks - but listening on vinyl they sound absolutely incredible from start to finish , this is easily one of my best sounding albums , the guitars sound incredible, everyone raves about knopflers recorded guitar tones - and rightly so , but this is as good if not better ... electric , acoustic , that liquid lead sound - all of it , great ambience too.

The soundstage , seperation , all the usual stuff - its all here and incredible.

Cant wait to get my copy of momentary lapse of reason next friday now !!

Bravo Mr Gilmour & co .

Very happy with my copy. Drop dead silent vinyl. Not even a pop or a tick. Better than any audiophile album I own! Plus you're getting incredible AAA Doug Sax mastering. Great buy! Crazy that the original is Hundreds, and this is better as it's split over two discs, so better quality sound, and still all analogue. Easily one of the best sounding Pink Floyd albums ever released

I think I was unlucky as many others, first track Cluster 1 has a lot of sibilance.
Good music, bad pressing.

My copy is perfect. Clean, silent, and no distortion at low or high volumes, just perfect. The music is superb.

As others have mentioned, the music is great but the quality of the pressing is terrible and even after repeated cleans it's unplayable. Skips on every side
