As what others have mentioned here , indeed this pressing sounds awesome . its the only remastered pink floyd album in my collections and i have no regrets . The guitar slide , solo and instruments all sound smooth . i just wish waters , gilmour and mason can reunite back for a tour or a new single in 2024 .

Great pressing, zero background noise and no skipping as others experienced. Bought it september 2023, probably depends on the bacth.
Punchy bass, great separation of the instruments, and good dinamycs. overall a terrific sound.
Can’t compare with The original but not easy to beat this one.

Interesting to see how different everyone's experience is.

For me, this is one of the best sounding vinyls I own. Absolutely stunning.

The general sound quality is good, but there are 2 skips on track A2. Some people say there is surface noise on track A1 but I haven't got any, there is a sound similar to noise but it comes from the song itself. Also, I didn't like the hard paper sleeves and changed them immediately.

I love this album but this edition is not that great sounding TBH. It’s surprisingly lifeless and lacks the low end punch compared to the OG CD (which is much better sounding) I was pretty disappointed despite what the hype sticker claims.

I can never win with records in the hard paper sleeves. Every time you pull them out of the sleeve for the first time, clean them, and put them in a nice poly sleeve you will notice the surface swirls all over the disc from the factory putting them in the sleeve. same thing with my 20th anniversary edition division bell, and for the most part they don't affect the sound, they both sound bad in general. Plagued with surface noise.

Found this in local HMV (Feb 2022) and this is perfect, sounds incredible.

Maybe there was a bad batch of this or something in 2021 with all the bad reviews, but I bought this in Dec 2022 and my copy sounds phenomenal, virtually zero surface noise, (think I heard one little tick between one of the tracks). No issues with IGD either.

I bought it Mint and sealed for 30.- €. Sound is good and clean, but I detected some skips on tracks A2, A3 and B2 and a loop in the middle of track A3. I have had a small disappointment with these pressing defects. At least the second LP (C/D) sounds flawless.

Looks like a new batch of the 2016 remaster has been pressed. Today I have received my sealed copy from JPC, Germany for 33.99€
