This is an album that has really grown on me over time, having bought it on CD in 1994, it has taken another 30 years to finally get a vinyl version! The Division Bell marks a poignant chapter in Pink Floyd's storied history, reflecting both evolution and nostalgia. Released in 1994, it stands as a testament to the band’s maturity, offering a sound that diverges from their earlier, more experimental work, yet retains the soul of Pink Floyd’s legacy.

This album is characterized by its smooth, polished production— a noticeable shift from the raw energy of The Dark Side of the Moon or the conceptual audacity of The Wall. The 180g vinyl is flawlessly pressed, with no noticeable surface noise, warping, or defects. It feels solid, clean, and flat. The sound quality is equally impressive, offering rich, dynamic audio with deep bass, crisp highs, and a well-balanced midrange.

David Gilmour’s guitar work is particularly noteworthy, his solos on tracks like “High Hopes” and “Coming Back to Life” are deeply emotive, resonating with the warmth and depth that vinyl uniquely provides.

Thematically, The Division Bell is introspective, exploring themes of communication and human connection. This is a departure from the band's earlier focus on grand, often dystopian, narratives. The lyrics, though less cryptic, are no less impactful. Gilmour and Richard Wright’s vocal performances are understated yet powerful, conveying a sense of reflection and reconciliation.

An album as good as this deserves a pressing like this. Highly recommend.

My copy has no issues, sounds awesome. This is the reason to have vinyl, playing this is just as good if not better than some of the audiophile releases form the likes of AP and MOFI.
            Highly recommended.

As what others have mentioned here , indeed this pressing sounds awesome . its the only remastered pink floyd album in my collections and i have no regrets . The guitar slide , solo and instruments all sound smooth . i just wish waters , gilmour and mason can reunite back for a tour or a new single in 2024 .

Great pressing, zero background noise and no skipping as others experienced. Bought it september 2023, probably depends on the bacth.
Punchy bass, great separation of the instruments, and good dinamycs. overall a terrific sound.
Can’t compare with The original but not easy to beat this one.

Interesting to see how different everyone's experience is.

For me, this is one of the best sounding vinyls I own. Absolutely stunning.

The general sound quality is good, but there are 2 skips on track A2. Some people say there is surface noise on track A1 but I haven't got any, there is a sound similar to noise but it comes from the song itself. Also, I didn't like the hard paper sleeves and changed them immediately.

I love this album but this edition is not that great sounding TBH. It’s surprisingly lifeless and lacks the low end punch compared to the OG CD (which is much better sounding) I was pretty disappointed despite what the hype sticker claims.
