As of 3/29/2021, someone is listing this for sale at 500 Euros, or as of this date, $588 US dollars. And thats the cheapest copy listed for sale! You can keep it, buddy.

I bought this on day of release in the UK and it is the Townhouse pressing. It has always sounded amazing to me, though it's worth noting the band actually only wanted this released on CD at the time, or at least that was what was reported in the press.
Although the way to my turntable was not easy, my patience was repaid. This is a true gem in my collection. Thanks Kevin..not words, play it and close your eyes..;)
Tennessee American here, just got mine today. A little crackly in the quiet parts but once music kicks in it's loud and perfect. Also a tiny tiny tiny bit warped but doesn't affect anything (pitch bending is literally one of the ingredients that made the album sound how it sounds so i don't think a badly warped copy would really affect it?). Can't speak on the sound of an original pressing or a comparison but overall very impressed and happy with this one.

I have two original Creation presses, that awful Plain pressing, the interesting German bootleg, and now the (presumably) definitive version on the way. For better or worse, each pressing seems to offer something different. I'm going to keep them all and do some comparisons once the represses arrive. Might make a video about it too. Ah, I am so excited!

this record is just okay..its not great at all, ill never understand the hype of my bloody valentine..

To everyone that is waiting for a reissue. Just ask yourself. Are you a true record collector or a hipster? A true record collector would want a 1st pressing of this classic and not settle for a reissue. I can tell you that this is the 1st press to own. The U.K. Creation townhouse dmm is where it's at. Hold out for a nice copy at $150 to $200. It's worth the extra $ difference to own the 1st press. If not, then just stream it or buy the cd. No need to buy any reissues.

Is there a vinyl pressing anywhere that doesn't screw over the buyer? I know the Plain version released in the U.S. is crap, but was hoping for better from Creation, but I'm seeing bad ratings/reviews for that (unofficial) Creation U.S. version too. Are the pressings in the rest of the world by Creation, anyone, good? Thanks, please advise.
