Reviews
One of my favorite albums in my collection, this one sounds really great. Love to throw this one on when I'm preparing coffee in the morning or reading.- Darwīš is an art work which is very personal to Berlin-based electronic artists – Parra for Cuva & Senoy.
Both of them decided to go in the milieu of eastern coast of Spain for seclusion that was going to give them an impetus in the album-making process.
Released this year to Project Mooncircle – a record label that releases top quality electronic music – year after year.
Album falls into left field or experimental style of electronic genre and within that – ambient and deep house style. The Album is inclined highly towards the soft downtempo sound helped beautifully by broken beats.
Darwīš, Celestial Charts, Sacred Features are some progressive tracks which gives trance like feeling. I was greatly surprised when I saw the description of Darwīš track on Project Mooncircle site about how they unknowingly produced a trance like sound into the track.
Another worth mentioning thing about the album is the use of repetitive covetous female vocal cuts. Highlight is Syu.
A very enjoyable album!
