"Born out of necessity in the after hour scene in Detroit, Marshall Applewhite weaves a wide range of classic stylings with a raw modern edge. Coming off the heels of his first full length digital release, Marshall Applewhite in collaboration with Detroit Underground presents “Human Individual Metamorphosis”. His first appearance on Detroit Underground will lead you through sonic emptiness and low end terror, giving you an insight into the world of Detroit’s late-night sound now known as ‘Sludge’. The physical release is a sound collage comprised of two 30 minute mixes featuring 11 all new songs mashed together with dark ambience and the message of Marshall. Merely submitting to the preachings of this release will grant the listener access into a multi-dimensional journey of low slung techno debauchery."
