- Some serious work needs to be done here sorting through the duplicate 1970 releases, some marked as repress, some marked as reissue, but all with the same labels. There are two different covers for this album and it is not clear whether the Monterey poster art is original or the gray frame art is original.
- I'm Just needing information on a mint vinyl 31102-Re-1 1A both side's of a promo Otis Redding Jimi Hendricks MS 2029? Looking for one area on song after( Shake ~ before Loving you to Long.) - Edited 6 years agoSurprised not to find more info regarding the fact that 2 different covers exist for this LP. I believe the 1st was recalled due to Warner Bros not securing the rights from the artist to use their work. Any additional info appreciated. I recently acquired a sealed original copy with the psychedelic artwork and the small brass grommet upper left corner unique to WB pressings of the era. A fine addition to my Jimi collection.
