Yeah, what he said, 100% agree, Big up Stretch + AKO
Edited 9 years agoWould of been nice if Stretch's Dark vocal remix from 95 was on here but no point crying over that. There are 4 decent remixes with the stand out mix for me being Tim Reapers, the other 3 are new tracks using elements of Papa Lover to make 2016 sounding tracks which is not a bad thing. I need to play these again really.
Tims mix however sounds like it was pulled straight out of 1995, using far more than just vocal samples and the whole thing is just a lot more full and soulful with less emphasis on the bass drop and more on the samples. I'm pretty sure had this been released in 1995 that the likes of Kenny Ken and Dj Ron would of been all over it. 9/10 for Tim Reapers mix, 6 or 7/10 for the other 3.
One for the bag for sure and sure to sell out.
