In '80/'81 DOA, Black Flag & Dead Kennedys were the big three in Stockton, CA. I was 13/14yo, and I could ALWAYS find/convince somebody to drive to either SF or Sacramento to see any of the three. (It took YEARS to see Minutemen, 100 Flowers, Descendents [sadly post Milo/College], Red Cross - and I missed the Lewd entirely.) All three actually played Stockton by 04/83! But I swear to you, this Dicks LP & the Code of Honor/Sick Pleasure LP were HUGE in Stockton. Huge. By some act of god (SST), the (original Austin) Dicks played w/ Black Flag in Stockton on 04/22/83! They were, are and always will be MASSIVE. RIP Gary Floyd.

Fantastic all the way through. Golden production done by spot. This band was spectacular and this album is nearly a masterpiece.
