- From a rolling stone interview with Rob Base;
There’s a lot of conflicting information about who actually produced the track. A lot of places say Teddy Riley was involved.
Well, me, E-Z Rock and William Hamilton produced the track. No, Teddy was nowhere near that song. It was just us in there. So, I don’t know who else could say they’s there, ’cause it was just us.

- Edited 5 years agoRob Base & DJ E-Z Rock 's biting of Strafe - Set It Off brought me here. Without Strafe's beat, this track would be soggy toast.
- A classic dance tune. I couldn't do a set without multiple requests for this track. Almost hip-house like -- of course at 111 bpm it would work.
I think they should have pressed it in 45 RPM considering it is only 5:00 long. It would have sounded better.
