- Edited 2 years agoI have five copies of the red label US 7". Three of them have the small typeface and only credit 'Bobby Robinson Music, Inc.' as the publisher. The other two are hybrids of both label versions. One has the large typeface 'Wilburton Music, Inc.' publishing credit label on the a-side with the small typeface 'Bobby Robinson' only credit on the b-side, the other is the opposite way around. All five have exactly the same etched matrix in the runouts.
I don't know which label was printed first but can only assume a publishing credit was either added or removed due to legal or financial reasons and existing labels were used up during subsequent pressings from the same masters.
'Wilburton Music, Inc.' may be associated with Wilbert Harrison?
