Pulled this out today...The wax is flat, no background noise (unlike what others have run into), and in my subjective opinion the sound is balanced/nice separation/depth... on my system it sounds very good. I wouldn't hesitate on this Press.

    (Fluance RT-82 w/Acrylic Platter, ATN-XP cart/5 stylus. Nobsound T3 Phono Amp, Aiyima A07 Pro, Kicker KB6B, & Polk PSW10 Sub...Simple Low Cost Setup)...Happy Listening.

This is my favorite Dead Can Dance album and I had to have it on vinyl. I was blown away by the sound of it, and I was surprised it has two additional songs not on the CD. Nice pressing.

The clarity of this pressing is enlightening! Fantastic sounding record.

Amazing record. Anyone know why they changed the cover? Sounds great with minimal surface noise.

It's odd that the quality is a question here. I came on here to say that this may be THE best quality vinyl in my collection. It's absolutely silent and clean. The audio is crystal clear & dynamic. I'm using a Marantz 1120 receiver, Orbit Deluxe turntable with Ortofon Red cartridge & nice old Kenwood K-66 speakers. The photo output on the receiver is stellar.

The negative comments here baffle me.

Cool to have but the reissued SACD is far better and noticeably more dynamic. The vinyl quality itself isn't terrible but not up to the quality that this recording deserves.

Just compared to first edition record. New one is like taken from CD. Dynamic is really compacted. The spectrum seems tighten. First edition keeps the old school of power we are looking back in records.

Crazy Good version of this timeless piece of work! Really excellent sonics and quiet pressing. Highly recommended

I'm getting bad surface noise on Spirit on two copies so far. Anyone else getting this? It comes in at the end of Bird and goes throughout Spirit.
