      Help please!
Didn't this album get a full release on the US in 1991? I only see a promo and a triple vinyl show edition, and then the European pressings. THANKS!

Casually played through my 2016 purchased copy and I am happy to report it is not a stinker. I hesitated on snagging a copy due to some of the comments here. Digit copy or not, the mastering is actually much better than my copy of marauders which is quiet and very flat sounding. The jacket appears to be a very low budget scan job as well. This album is worth the risk, just try to find one from a retailer who is good about returns if you get a dud.

Similar issues. Very annoying, crackles all the way through the B side in my case.

If someone were to come up with a hip-hop time capsule that could store the best material of all time and bury it underground for another to uncover in 50 years' time, there is no question that this CD would be an automatic entry, along with Run-DMC's laceless Adidas shoes and Eric B's gold rope chains. With just their second release, ATCQ cemented their place in history. Jazzy samples underpining some of the best lyrics and tracks ever produced - and each Tribe member coming into their own (perhaps Phife with the biggest improvement, even getting his own track, "Butter"). From the opening lick of "Excursions" to the last chorus of "Scenario", all of it is sheer genius. The saying is true: they don't make 'em like this anymore. Want more proof? Look at VH1's 2007 Hip Hop Honors ceremony; guess which nominee everyone wanted to see finally get respect.

In my opinion this is one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever produced. The music alone is intelligent, catchy, jazzy and flat out great. The lyrics are smart and clever delivered smoothly by the sharp vocals of Q-Tip, Phife Dawg and Ali. This is some of the best production. Every track on here is a classic and will be remembered for decades...
