Got this album for $10 at my local record shop, had what looked like animal feces stuck to the inner gatefold but the vinyl sounds great. Highly recommend.

One of the best recordings there is. So glad I picked up a NM copy of the laminate cover for 50 bucks a few days before he passed away.

This is one of the best records in my collection and of all time. Found it in a dusty record store alongside Tauhid and Jewels of Thought in a very lucky haul for a meager $27 for all three. The store owner didn’t even seem to bat an eye at my obvious shock and joy upon finding them, merely commenting “They aren’t quite mint”. The records are nearly perfect (lots of tiny little scuffs that are barely surface and don’t affect sound in the least oh boy) and they play without any kind of skipping or static.

Karma is my favorite of Sander’s Discography. While there are several songs on the album, it’s really just “The Creator has a Master Plan” except the B side is a shorter and less chaotic remix. Honestly that’s great. The Creator Has a Master Plan is in my opinion the greatest jazz song ever made. It’s incredibly soulful and filled with a bright, wild, and passionate energy that seems to make the very air around me vibrate and hum with life and rhythm.

I’d be willing to pay any sum for this original LP, but wasn’t able to afford or kept forgetting to afford it on the original wax. This morning I enjoyed it for the first time while enjoying some online shopping at Palace and found it to be one of the most relaxing experiences ever, other than my anxiety at the thought of the pillow being sold out before I got mine.

The disc itself is flat black and very heavy, with a very real and old feel to it and great warmth to the sound. One of the Highest quality in my collection. I’d absolutely recommend adding one to your own before they jump up in price like Sun Ra albums did.

That being said, I don’t know how to tell if my copy is an original 1969 or the 1970/71 reissue. Can anyone tell me how to find out? Thanks!

        11/10

I’m in need of a cover for this lp. The laminated one. I’ve a nice copy of the album I picked up without it. If anyone out there has one, please let me know.
