- I was just a teenager when this came out and it still mesmerizes me many decades later! I really think “Love Song” is their finest song even though they made many close seconds to this. This is a Canadian 12” single was dirt cheap brand new and it has been given many playings since winter 1981 but wow, this slab of vinyl still sounds incredible cranked up loud! The deep repeating bass riff just transports me every time. The instrumental B-side is also excellent. Pick this up if you see it in the wild as you won’t be disappointed.
