- Edited one year agoBeautiful, emotive track.
First heard it in context of John Digweed’s Renaissance 2 - the second half of that mix ... with Fluke, Zenith Nadir and the Future Funk EP etc listening on the 🎧 late one balmy summer evening in Crete 1996 - and it blew me away. Will never grow tired of this. High on Hedonism mix for 🚀 into spacey heaven.
Goosebump stuff for sure - Beautiful track - just a bunch of good pieces thrown together, no painstaking over-production/over-processing
- Such a shame this only made it to No.20 for one week in the UK-Dance-Charts in early 1993... Essential ProgHouseTrance whatever

HIGH ON HEDONISM ! Is the best mix on this EP.
One of the best progressive house tracks of the 90's - Edited 3 years agoKnowing some of the Atomic heads and attending the Power Station parties after the Reform, every listen to this record brings back great memories. These folk - who were much more aligned to Harvey, Choci and Rev of Tonka than to the prog. house scene - managed to burn incredibly brightly in a Brighton scene lucky to have them. How Guerilla, a pedestrian label with so many forgettable releases, ended up with them is now history but this release will outlast them.
- If someone ever asks you to explain what the fuss was about with early progressive house, you cant go wrong with playing them this record. Typical early Guerilla sound, dubby, a slightly slower BPM than other tunes, but such a lush groove and audio soundscape made you forget that instantly. The Spooky remix keeps most of the original parts, but I'm always drawn to the stripped back 'Dentalfloss Dub' for my pick of the 3.
- I found Schudelfloss as a white label promo while digging around for records in a shop in late spring/early summer in 1993. What a lucky find. This song's emotional breakdown still sends chills up my spine 15 years after its release.
When progressive house spun out from the UK in 1991/1992 and reached its peak in 1993, this track was a gem on the style's crown. And utterly amazing in the large parties that were thrown that summer and fall. - Edited 15 years agoA great release from a great label, this for me is the pinnacle of uk progressive house circa 1992. A Spacey and atmospheric intro which builds and builds to a really uplifting break down, various samples thrown in for good measure creating a must have for early 90's uk house fans. Caned at the time by Sasha & the highlight of Digweeds 2nd Renaissance mix CD.
