My copy is flawless. And yes it has a kind of distortion. I've found this happening on other albums i own. Great music btw!- You're going to think it's a poor pressing rife with distortion. While the pressing actually isn't great, the distortion is partially present on digital versions too. I suspect that the vinyl is amplifying that issue, particularly on songs near the end where there's already some IGD.
Not the best sound quality, but an amazing album nonetheless.
Such a mixed bag of playback reactions! Mine was spotless out of the sleeve and other than some minor static clicks and pops(it’s what vinyl is all about) my pressing is fantastic🎶.
Excellent pressing. Pre-ordered and bought this back in 2016. Still plays beautifully. Came with a mp3/Flac/Wav (24 bit) download card which was a great bonus.- Clicks and crackling throughout. Also sound muddies and clears here and there. One that will be shelved and probably never played again. Very disappointing.
Edited 4 years agoAnyone else receive warped discs or am I just unlucky? Debating whether to send this back for the second time. I know almost all records suffer from some degree of warpage, but it’s a little irritating to see the stylus move up and down constantly on a brand new record.- Not hugely impressed with the UK pressing of this. Sounds much muddier than the digital version, I'd avoid
- Really impressed with this pressing and gatefold cover is solid. I haven’t even cleaned the vinyl yet as it was second hand, but no need to. Sound is perfect. It did skip for in on the second track, but hoping once I clean the record, it will be fine.
Superb album. My copy from a brick and mortar store sounds great and is really enjoyable.
