Very French sounding somewhere between Mr Oizo and Mirwais with a good dose of Impulsion thrown in but not as pop as any of that. If Aphex was French maybe... I have no idea if Micronauts are French though lol (pos not!)

The Micronauts are fearless. This recording carries throbbing house tracks accompanied by their signature high-pitched electronic bleeping/screeching and vigorous synth workouts. The house tracks are interspersed with "fillers" that are ambient/experimental noise. All tracks are essentially variations on the theme of Baby Wants To Bleep, which some may find tedious (but could be useful for a DJ mix, no?) The unapologetically dance-oriented house beats lift the deliberately dead-panned bleeps/screeches to a whole new dimension, making them come alive. This is a classic Micronauts album.

The idea of combining house with distorted noise and dirty deats is rather interesting. Their music sounds great, but this idea lacks a deeper development.
