....would I sell it? Quite often I go through my bigger record collection - music by different styles- reporting the last 5 decades of music- to ask myself "do I really need this one still? The answer is in this certain case: 111% . For sure. This 2 mixes representing a statement of the early disco area....see all the reviews before. No more comment is necessary. As a bonus: the sound is incredible on wax. Amen

has anyone ever heard the recording of the voice at the end of the song saying; 'now let's do the album version'...serious tune with a happy end! 100% Disco Classic by the real Queen of Disco Loleatta Holloway (RIP). Still a relevant mix by Walter Gibbons too...

This here is one of the most incredibly potent remixes ever done. Still sounds so amazing and fresh... heads and shoulders above the competition. So just imagine what it must have felt like being around and hearing it in a club the year it came out?

This mix was sampled by Carl Craig to form the hook of the Detroit techno classic, Paperclip People 'Throw'.

As if the Gibbons mix of "Hit and Run" wasn't enough to make this record one of the best disco records ever made, the flip sends it through the roof. "We're Getting Stronger" is one of the most beautiful uplifting disco love songs. I bought this 12" without realising that was even on it! Totally classic disco music, I'd give it 25/5 if possible......
