Edited 3 years agoHalber Mensch is the most cohesive Einstürzende Neubauten album, and also their darkest at its most sparse. It's very unusual, and so moreish once you're in. A massive improvement over the sometimes quite messy earlier work.
Neubauten have one of the strongest discographies in music, their more relaxed later sound is often the equal of this, and I'd put Halber Mensch in my overall top ten albums of all time.
