According to W. E. Timmer's Duke Ellington discography Ellingtonia, this concert was recorded on November 10, 1969 at the Opernhaus in Cologne, Germany.

Although track 4 is introduced as "Jam With Paul," it's actual title is "Up Jump."
Track 10 is the opening of a three song medley, though the latter two songs, "I'm Beginning To See The Light" and "Sophisticated Lady," are omitted from the CD.
Track 18 is incomplete, faded out at the end.
