Reviews
- There will never be another band like Prince and the Revolution. This album is a masterpiece! Work of genius. Vinyl sounds perfect. ALL GOOD THINGS THEY SAY NEVER LAST.
- My pressing sounds fantastic even better than I remember. As a massive Prince fan, Side B of this album may be the single greatest side of music he has ever produced. Kiss into Anotherloverholenyohead into Sometimes It Snows in April is perfection and shows all the depth of his genius in 15 minutes. LOVE this album.
- This 2016 reissue of Prince & The Revolution’s ‘Parade’ album gets 5 stars. Packaging is great. Love the gatefold and photography. The thick paper inner sleeve would’ve been better if it was poly lined to protect the 140 gram vinyl from static & scratches, so I transferred the LP to a poly sleeve. Yes the album is QUIET…no snaps, crackles, or pops. All in all, this essential Prince album is an affordable addition to my vinyl collection, and is essential listening before listening to the ‘Sign o The Times’ 180 gram vinyl remaster.
- Might just be my copy, but this pressing is NOT a remaster, and it shows. Sounds oddly distorted in some places, and disappointingly flat in others.
