Doppelate – Wash It Out

Definitely the best and most heart warming release on LGS for me. If you can get a copy of this, grap it while you can!

Pyar lush record this. Takes me back to the old days of house music when people said A LOT with NOT VERY MUCH AT ALL (wonderfully basic equipment and arrangements). There's an air of glorious melancholy to the whole thing. If I was one of those skinny bearded electronic music bods flipping through the new releases in a London record shop and I got dumped towards the end of the summer this would be MY SOUNDTRACK. Not that I don't enjoy it now in the quite happy not-yet-dumped north of England springtime. I play it over and over to be honest.

In the early days of house music I was a baby to be honest (i'm being honest again) so that trite "takes me back" stuff is a load of absolute bilge, sorry about that. Great record anyway. All the best.
