The first half of both sides skipped A LOT, until I bought a better turntable with counterweight and skate control and only the first song skipped maybe twice. There are several instances of noise in the grooves throughout this pressing, though.

Mine has lots of noise - side 1 - last two tracks - cannot see any imperfections - cleaned twice no improvement - rubbish pressing looks like.

Yes …it skips a lot…not usable. Last time I buy one of these “Back to black” BS…

Very sorry to hear that others are experiencing skips and distortion on their copies. Mine plays flawlessly and sounds perfectly fine; much like the mono CD from the Deluxe Edition. Maybe some are bad and others aren’t?

the skips are very extreme. and do not go out even with proper cleaning. so my record is inaudible. very unfortunate..

Nice press. No skips at all. Happy with this record.

Two copies had same skips and distortion on the innermost tracks on both sides.
