Bought used at the record shop. Crackle, snap, pop noise throughout and a muted, muddy sound.

Then I cleaned it several times over. Ultrasonic, scrubbing with multi-step cleaner, vacuum machine, more ultrasonic.

And now it sounds great! Maybe that’s all this record needs for other folks: a deep long clean.

I love the album, but this is the dirtiest record I've pulled out of a sealed copy.

A good pressing. Side A sounds beautiful, no problem with it. Side B has a bit of static noise which is a bummer but not too distracting. Let's say it adds texture...

The work is impeccable, the sound of my copy is lousy

Simply a masterpiece as well as beautifully produced and pressed.

My copy sounds clear and perfect, no noise like some others have mentioned.

My copy is correctly labelled and the content is correct. But, the pressing is off centre so there is quite a lot of pitch deviation which is a problem with this type of material.

I can understand people would lose interest in Cave after the terrible ‘Dig Lazarus Dig’ album; however, ‘Push the Sky Away’ was far better, and ‘The Skeleton Tree’ is better yet.

‘Distant Sky’ is one of the most haunting love songs ever, and makes even the beautiful ’Straight To You’ seem clunky and awkward by comparison.

                  An excellent album.

Just purchased this copy off an internet auction site - and yep , you guessed it - side A both sides!

I got a copy of this today and was blown away by how good it sounds. After reading people's reviews I expected it to hiss and crackle like a hex. But, it sounds great, the labels are correct, and I'm glad to have it.
