Epic record, amazing sound with no clicks and pops. Did have to turn the treble down for echoes, because its a little distorted

Had to give the copy back to the Record Store as the whole B-Side has awful, very noticeable distortion and surface noise. Apparently it’s quite common with this pressing. I’m waiting for a replacement and hope it won’t be an issue again. The A-Side is spotless by the way. But who are we kidding, most of us buy this album for Echoes on the B-Side

Astounding pressing and sound quality. Easily 25% more information to be heard in the grooves. Inky black background. 1 tiny tick. Fabulous.

My new copy also has the distortion present on side 2

Just received my copy from Amazon for Xmas. Side 1 = outstanding and dead quiet . Side 2 - Echoes has issues. Not only are there bad pops and a syncopated amount of bad noise that circles in time, there is also bad distortion that is in my opinion a deal breaker for my pressing. Others below have experienced the same , so it's that mystery of do I get another & test it ? Or hunt a completely different pressing. More likely the ladder....

After several spins, I have to say that this record has overall the widest and clearest soundstage of any record I have ever listened to! It's a notch (if not two) above the DSOTM-remaster of the same year. Random pops on side 2 have disappeared, and the few at the start on side 1 don't take away the awesomeness! Rating updated.

I got clicks and pops at the start of side 1, and some minor random pops on side 2. This after cleaning. So not an excellent pressing for me, but very good nonetheless. Perhaps a tad bright mastering, but can't complain.

Very clean and proper sound. They did a really good job on this one.

Great purchase! Dark, no hiss, no pops, presence. All for some 20 Euros. Wow!
