I just discovered this album last night and it really is something else. I'm shook.

This pressing sounds pretty sweet. However right out of the sleeve it was pretty dirty and side A is warped more then I really care for. Lady Wray is so talented and definitely underrated.

This is such a good record. I'm glad she found her lane after putting out the music (that I loved, by the way) that she did in her youth. She sounds more comfortable in this space. Really good pressing.

It's amazing that 21 years ago, Ms Wray was tipped to be the next Aaliyah with her hit single "Make It Hot". For some reason, she kind of fell through the cracks after that, passing through a number of record labels with two albums going unreleased. I'm glad she chose to go in this retro soul direction - she's got a wonderful voice, the band is up to the task and this really sounds like it could be an early 70s Stax album. This vinyl release sounds fantastic - no flaws to be reported at all. Highly recommended!

Amazing album the band are amazing, the production is incredible her voice is amazing and the song writing is amazing, a classic modern day soul album managing to sound contempary and fresh yet still hold on to some of that old skool 60s and 70s Motown and Stax era, every tracks a winner :-)

Holy hell is this record fire! Lady Wray brings back the Motown sound with full force. Do It Again, Smiling, and Guily are my favorite tracks on here. Fantastic funk/soul
