- Jose Reynoso is a boss, very underappreciated, whether it's the G-Dubs records or here as The Return. 'New Day' is one of my favorite deep house records, agreed with ijustspeak that it's a timeless cut. Kai Alce dropped this a couple weeks ago at Motorcity Wine in Detroit and it brought the best vibes of the night for me
- Edited 7 years agoWithout joking, one of my favourite deep house records of all time. First heard it on Tenaglia´s GU London and fell in love with it. And at the time when finding records was hard (long before Discogs Marketplace), i searched everywhere for it. Eventually found it and will be one of those that i can´t part ways with. It is just an essential piece of music. Is the track everyone should own together with Can You Feel It and several other tracks.
It is all about 'New Day' on this. Top-drawer timeless mellow percussive driven production with the most heartfelt vocals you will ever encounter.
- "Time had changed, im no fool.. Im gonna do it right... this time"
In it´s original tempo it´s a bit to fast, so i normally go lower with it. You can pitch it down as low as you want, the lower the pitch, the more it tears on your soul.
A untouchable piece of house music that seemed kind of a one-off from a producer who mostly crafts Hip-Hop and funkier house stuff.
