This is the version to go for if you’re on a budget like me and can’t afford the box set. Great package, great sound and enough bonus tracks to keep you interested. But the original album is already perfect as it is. Highly recommended.
You could pay silly money for the 2019 4AD big box or you could opt for this. It sounds just fine and it's got some alternate takes tacked on. The alt version of Some Misunderstanding included here has a very Mazzy Star vibe about it.
What most people probably want is the album itself in all its overblown cult glory and that's what you get. If you want bells and buckles added, go for the recent ones. However if you want a nice CD copy then this is a worthwhile alternative with a little extra.
