Notes
Tour exclusive only, it was first made available in the U.S on the 27th of September 2016 at the House of Blues in San Diego, C.A. and as the Tour went on. Apparently only a few copies at once were for sale at the merchandising boots, that's why only the first people in line crossing the doors could rush and grab one. Not all venues had copies for sale.
It was limited to 300 copies pressed on a 180gm black vinyl issued in a sleeve with a laser die-cut of the personage losing its crown (as to be found on the sleeve of The Mountain Will Fall) and containing a blue inner sleeve. Labels are blue too, with side A bearing scriptures and side B being blank. It was issued together with a rectangular stencil but as opposed to the one found with the LP, this one is a portrait (higher than wide). B2 is a previously unreleased track and it's the only way to get it on a physical release.
It was announced to be the 3rd out of 3 singles released to promote TMWF.
Timings are not to be found on release, retrieved using a stopwatch. Tracks position are showing as on release.

- On my copy, Ubu has a constant beep noise going on it that's kinda distracting. Anyone else's copy have this problem?
- Still available at Shadow's official store for 25 USD https://shop.djshadow.com/collections/vinyl/products/dj-shadow-bergscrhund-feat-nils-frahm-12-vinyl
- Edited 5 years agoThe b-side "Ubu", is a menacing electronic ode to the old (U.S.) analogue TV broadcast days, and to that “good dog” of the same name. The record spins with Ubu's owner commanding, "Sit Ubu sit!" to no avail. It’s not until the end of the record where it is discovered that the joke is on the listener, and that Ubu may not be what we think he is (“Meow”). It's a simple and fun little number with what seems to be a highpitch (dog?) whistle playing through the runout at the end.
