They're both quality 'Happy Hardcore' tunes...however it MUST be said...Slipmatt's 'Take Me Away' Remix is one of those epic breakdown big synth & simply HUGE vocal productions (don't ever remember seeing vocal credited but got to be a lass like classic Donna Grassie who graced so many amazing tunes with her voice?) that are guaranteed to get ANY totally-knackered late-morning crowd to their feet for "just one more" resulting in a load of whistles, compulsory hands-in-the-air (from everyone including the bored sound engineer & old rock roadies etc), massive cheers, hugs from mates & strangers alike & a few last hopeful sniffs of vicks all thrown in! One of those definitive scene timeline / genre-defining tracks that stick in your mind the 1st time u heard it dropped (by DJ [insert here]) & somehow you clearly recall those few minutes of insanity as it went off...even if the rest of the event is a blur! Tracks like this don't age...they just keep going off...bigtime!
Well this Is simply the finest happy hardcore choon ever made, Forget your force n styles , your Dougal , your hixxy cheese , This is DA BOLLOX Of happy hardcore , I remember the first time I heard this live at fusion 1vth dimension 94 it blew me away completely like one of the great Test moments of my life , Always hits the spot xx
Because Slipmatt liked the label and the track he only charged £350 for his remix, as opposed to his usual £500 fee. After the track was hugely successful, Luna-C paid him a bonus to say thank you.
