This one of the many PCP classics that especially found its appreciation in the Dutch scene as well. Hardcore MF was played everywhere and also the remixes that came later on. A simply forward pushing dry distorted 909 moving its way thru the track with the notorious HMF sample and the synth spattered in between. Legs were flying literally on the dancefloors!
Let it Roar was a good track as well but due to the weirdness inside and the breakbeat in between never got out of the shadow of HMF.
Although "Hardcore Muthafucka" was by far the big hit on this record - for me "Let It Roarrr!!!" is the real classic on here. Like many PCP classics it's quite straightforward - with a weirdly tuned hypnotic riff, a familiar rap sample, a few breaks before dropping into mid-tempo hardcore. But it has that wonderful slightly sinister feel that the best PCP tunes do, and the distinctive drum roll intro makes it a perfect set opener.
