Reviews
- What is this? I have Can of Bees, Underwater Moonlight and Nextdoorland... But I always thought this was a compilation of those. Although I did hear a band cover Rock 'n' Roll Toilet once.
- Edited 2 years agoI like this album better than Can Of Bees, it’s just as good as Moonlight to me, though Underwater Moonlight is their best. Indispensable to Soft Boys fans. Classic songs! Rock-n-Roll Toilet; He’s A Reptile; Have A Heart, Betty, they’re all classic!
- Edited 2 years agoThis features recordings prior to can of bees and underwater moonlight but make no mistake, you need this in your soft boys collection. Just listen to when I was a kid and that helter skelter like bass boing and searing guitar stabs or the stones like tumbling dice like rock n roll toilet or love poisoning’s pure melodic pop for evidence. This 1st uk press is excellent as well so seek one out and make sure the very rare Portland arms offer insert is present for the complete copy.
