Excellent press, side 2 has a faint surface noice on the right channel that prompts you to dust the needle (with some result). The set is in desperate need of paper-nylon sleeves though, I had this stored for 2 years packed in the shelf and still gathered dust.

My favourite will always be their album Exai - brutal, absolutely brutal music which shakes the brain and corrupts the soul. But THIS would be a close second. Great pressing.

Side C runs 25'35'' and it somehow sounds absolutely fantastic... they didnt have to go this hard with the pressing, but they did. Looks great, too, white-on-black labels look cool. Wish all WARP records were pressed to this standard.

Weird that there are so many comments about the pressing of this. I just received my copy of it (yes, yes, years late but I have the original silver vinyl which sounds terrible and always did), and frankly, it’s whisper quiet on all sides and sounds fantastic. This is how a classic record should be pressed and sound.

Ahhh pure bliss. This repress sounds very good. Hoping Warp will do more Autechre reissues in the future. Got Tri, Amber & this, they all are top pressings. Amazing how fresh Autechre's early music still is. Amazing stuff.

I actually found this cleaner-sounding than Amber, way less surface noise. Tri Repetae though is dead-quiet. Overall, I thought they all sounded great.

Super duper wax here! Sounds as dope if not better than my OG CD. Very full, good volume- blissful to hear on wax... hear hear!

Like many others here, mine has some faint hissing noise through the right channel. I have put it through my ultrasonic cleaner and the noise is still present, however it disappears completely the moment the music begins and doesn't detract from my enjoyment of this landmark album in any way. The sound quality is superb, as it is on Tri Rep and Amber. The guys at Warp are to be congratulated on a first rate job. If only all represses were as good as this!

Got my copy through Amazon for Christmas. My pressing is dead quiet all around, very good pressing, up to the standards Warp have set with the Board of Canada represses.

Just picked up a copy of this repress. I wanted to get Tri Rep originally, two weeks ago, but they were sold out so I got Amber. Went back today and still no Tri Rep so I got Incunabula. Of the 3, despite being the first Autechre album I've ever heard and bought, I'd say I rate Tri Rep and Amber a notch or two above Incunabula. Regardless of that, getting at people's comments on the quality of the vinyl itself… Having listened to both the Amber and Incunabula repressings on my HD 25 IIs now, I would have to say that, with the copies I have, Amber sounded much superior. On Incunabula I noticed quite a bit more surface noise, (like a sort of vinyl scuffy hiss in the right channel) throughout most of side A, a little bit on B, and some on D. The C side seemed relatively clean. I would not say it took away from the listening experience per say, as I still quite enjoyed it. But I feel overall, I would be likely to play my CD or digital WAV copies. It is nice to finally own it on wax tho. If the Amber repress was a 9.5 out of 10 listening experience, Incunabula I would say was maybe a 7.75/10.
