Track 1-2 has an incorrect songwriting credit, wrongly attributed to Arthur Schwartz. According to ASCAP, it was written by Simon Schwartz and Milt Orient.

Track 2-24 is credited to Ellington-Ellington as songwriters, though it is almost universally credited to Mercer Ellington alone (though it was said to have been written by Johnny Hodges, who lost it to Mercer in a card game). There is also a lyric by Ted Persons, added at a later date. Verified by ASCAP research.
