Purchased my copy the week it came out. Levels are really low due to cramming in 30 minutes per side, so surface noise is high. However, it will be a cold day in h*** before I let go of my original pressing.

        My favourite ATCQ release.
This is what hip hop is all about. Fat beats from old vinyl and some real lyrical madness.

Wicked pressing this, recommend grabbing a copy if you can!

Finally found a nicely priced copy of this OG in the wild and picked it up. Surprised to say it sounds great for being on 1 LP. Might have to turn it up a tiny bit but really sounds great for so much music on each side.

Still surprised that there has not been a 2XLP reissue of such a essential album. It deserves it. The single LP represses--as well as the OG--play too quietly since an almost-hour long program is stuffed on one disc. Hopefully for its 30th anniversary in three years, there will a much-deserved expanded issue with single mixes, b sides, remixes and unreleased material on all formats.

Have anyone ever seen the OG black frame version, does it even exist?

Thanks to Jive Records this record has been available over the years. The original pressing has green labels and the DMM etchings in the runout groove section. Early copies have printed dust sleeves, late 90s pressings just came with a regular white inner sleeve, otherwise identical if I'm right.

If you can pick yourself up an original european issue then do. I have both the US and European 1sts and the double european is far better, although I think the original US is pretty good.

Any one on Discogs that can confirm that the original US LP really was released not only with green frame (black frame but green watches) but also has one version with red frame / red wacthes and different artist displayed, and one version with black frame / no greenish watches and different artists displayed. I know the CD release has different versions: green, red and black, but the red frame LP or black frame with no green watches LP version is not listed on Discogs - so has any one really seen those or have one any information?
