- Многие современные издания записывают на 2-4 децибела выше нормы. От этого неприятные искажения. Не понятно, почему принимается такое решение
Many modern publications record 2-4 decibels above normal. This creates unpleasant distortions. It is not clear why this decision is being made - This plays to a very high standard in my system for a "lowly" Greatest Hits LP price wise mine was £22 May 2018!
All of the really good sounding tracks sound REALLY GOOD like:Disc No.1 - Bohemian Rhapsody,Another One Bites The Dust(Outstanding bass playing by John Deacon also written by him),Fat Bottomed Girls,You're My Best Friend, etc. Disc No.2 - Crazy Little Thing Called Love(excellent guitar work by Sir Brian May),Somebody To Love(for me one of Freddie Mercury`s best vocals and some nice keyboards once again Brian May excellent),Now I'm Here etc. All these wonderful songs and great memories that they may bring back will leave you very satisfied with this double LP. One of things that probably to some extent isn`t really acclaimed is the rhythm section that was so potent on bass & drums/percussion of John Deacon and Roger Taylor, you can get a very good sense of the progressive baas and drums throughout this LP.
Highly Recommended Five Stars, yes it may not be on the best quality vinyl but it`s a "budget price" LP and my tow discs are, flat, undamaged with well centered spindle holes.

Isoacoustic Orea feet. - Edited 6 months agoWouldn't recommend it. Well, everything's almost flawless, except last tracks on second LP. Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy & We Are The Champions sound distorted ! Awful ! It ruins all the good that comes with it
- Once cleaned with a wet cleaning machine (was dirty) this is a very good pressing..some noise between tracks.. Marantz TT15-S1.
- Mine sounds very good but not great. Good separation and clean but I agree with Madman that is sounds at least slightly veiled - like there is another layer or two that could be peeled back on a better pressing. Again though it is very good though, just not great. IMO.
- This is a very solid pressing with good dynamics and a very decent mix and soundstage. Some of the songs are quieter than others, which is a little strange, and I think Fat Bottom Girls has a fade out instead of how the song is supposed to end, but this still a great presentation of the songs. Nice heavy vinyl, but the sleeves are like suction cups on the records, so be careful when taking them out. I replaced them with rice paper sleeves.
- Fantastic pressing, i was a bit skeptical about getting a copy of The Greatest Hits of any band since i used to love many songs from different Queen albums, but if you are looking for a cheaper solution with tons of legendary songs, this one is definitely for you.
- Just listened. Did have static on my vinyl but hit it with brush to remove that and it played clean and no pops. Have replaced the cardboard sleeves for rice paper ones.
I did find it overall an enjoyable listen. But found - fat bottomed girls, as a whole a bit muted. And thought Freddy’s voice in - don’t stop me now, to much in the back ground with instruments forward, I would of preferred his vocals forward on that.
It is a greatest hits so id imagine different sources for the songs unless they were all recorded at same studio and recorded on same equipment. - Fantastic pressing! No surface noise. No pops and clicks. Sound is very dinamic, rich and detailed. Highly recommended!
- Not sure if it's just me but on some songs the vocals sound slightly veiled. Also had to turn the volume up more than usual. All in all sounds though, it's a great dynamic pressing.
