Red Herring is amazing; truly, it's a down-and-dirty masterpiece.

But I'd like to direct everyone's attention to Mobile Telephone. Also a filthy muckraker, this track features stomping percussion, a deliciously evil bassline, and a boat-load of twisted acid. A series of rhythmic vocals propel the track into a stripped-down section after three and a half minutes, during which the acid lines and sense of anticipation build steadily. And then, in a very no-nonsense, matter-of-fact release, the track just storms to life again, mercilessly assaulting you with its full power. Pounding, edgy, and oh-so-acidic, this track will tear the cover off any party, simple as that (and though I agree with Rich C. that Red Herring is great, for me, Mobile Telephone is the true masterclass on this release. Plus, Mobile Telephone later appeared on the Xpdigiflex repress series, so you don't even need to pick it up here).

One of the most sought after acid techno tracks in existence, the real masterpiece is surely red herring [which wasnt re-released]. The bassline is dirtier than a sumo wrestlers jockstrap, that lawrie immersion/ dave the drummer touch is all over this, and the bassline [i feel] was replicated on a series of releases after this. Mark Eg played this and on the breakdown shouted "this is acid music, its gonna f**k you in the head" I couldnt agree more mark!!
