- Edited one year agoI will finish listening to this one day. Harold Beane's chank-chank-chank is way up in the mix. Did he know the songs yet?
- The CD version I have of this is a horrible mix that would make most poorly mixed live bootlegs sound pretty good in comparison. Has the mix improved at all? The performance is pretty good considering the rhythm section never rehearsed before the show it's just an atrocious mix on the CD I bought years ago
- Edited 7 years agoOn the OBI there is written: "For the first time on vinyl & packaged as a deluxe gatefold double LP set limited to 1000 copies". Well, mine is not gatefold, is it still limited to 1000 copies ? Concerning the "deluxe double LP" and for my copy, believe me there's nothing deluxe here, the cover photo is blurred, the cardboard is thin and of poor quality, the text on the insert is a copy/paste from the 1996 CD booklet and it is not pleasant to read. What a shame !!! For the records, who are in a basic scratchy paper innersleeve, mine are well pressed, and for me the sound has improved compared to CD from 1996, at least a good news....
