Lots of pops and clicks, surface noise and Better things has a terrible bass distortion . Not the pressing i expected. The 2012 pressing is way better.

This is a brilliant album that should be in everybody's collection. My only complaint about Massive Attack albums is that there's not enough of them.

my sept. 2024 purchase is fine. first listen revealed no pops.clicks or surface noise. soundstage and dynamics are very similar to the the massive attack vs mad professor no protection dub lp which is also a wild bunch release. both pressings made in Germany, im guessing at the same plant.

2016 edition here, vinyl is just bad, perhaps the most bad item in my collection. Ticks, pops, distortion. Can't believe the reviews. Massive Attack deserves quality vinyl, not this sh**. Hoping for a reissue via another label/plant.

An OK listen. A fair amount of static, pops and clicks. Lots of marks on the wax too.

Traded it in and picked up another copy (may 2024). It is mint. Sounds amazing too aside from ssssssssssssssssssssss

Sounds great for the most part, with no overly apparent surface noise, but the sibilance is pretty bad at times, much like the most recent version of Blue Lines.
