Reviews
- This is the first album I remember listening to as a kid. My dad had installed a soundsystem and after the sauna me and my sister sat right infront of the cd player, mystified. We stared at the cd cover for maybe a bit too long, for I remember it. This was when I was like four. My sister had just started school.
Very nostalgic for me. Good pressing. - It's a 180 gram press. Came out together with 'Protection' and 'Blue Lines' (both 180 gram represses) at 02 Dec 2016. Problem solved but discogs could and should mention 180gram pressings. There are a lot that aren't mentioned..
- Edited 7 years agoMy copy sadly had a pressing defect on the last minute on B2 - there is like a reticular / "hair" incision for about 5 x 20mm - looks very superficial, but it does affect playback w clicks and disturbances. Tried to clean it but absolutely nothing got better. Sadly I noticed this several months later, as I didn't play it immediately.
I don't get this lousy manufacturing procedures with so many brand new records these days. It never ever was like this in the good old days.
I just feel like throwing the record away. - WOW. Exceptional pressing. Clear, vibrant, silky, completely flat and no surface noise present. Great remixes as well. Recommend!
- Like the reissue of "Protection", it's a bit on the quiet side but plays just fine at louder volumes.
- Sounds awesome!
Remastered or not, the quality of this press is very impressive.
Better than the original. Recommended.
