Reviews
- Edited one year agoDon't be fooled by the rather sizable number of low ratings for this album here. This is actually one of McFerrin's best studio projects and (personally speaking) my No. 1 favorite of his discography so far to date, just BARELY edging out his 1986 'Spontaneous Inventions' album for that matter. His innate ability to use his voice to simulate a wide variety of instruments is simply uncanny. On top of that, I find his deeply spiritual approach to the songs he writes/performs to be right up my alley at this current stage in my life. This is the kind of music that can definitely raise one's vibration level exponentially with repeated listens. Too bad mainstream radio stopped supporting such positive forward-minded artists a long time ago because the general music-buying public needs them in the absolute WORST way right now:::deep sigh:::
