- Evowhite777 summed it up, this is a staggering release and collection of songs, in all facets. I was very much on the fence of picking it up in the new arrivals bin, at my home record store.. best decision I’ve ever made, and makes me feel good about trading records in.. Props to whoever parted with this and allowed to end up in my hands.. I will pay it forward at some point.. Annie Lennox is one of the more under rated artists in last 50 years.. just listen!!
- Vinyl front-end:

Phono Stage:Whest Audio TWO.2 class a dual mono fully balanced phono stage, isoacoustics orea graphite feet(x3), 43db/47k ohms mm setting.
I`m not professing to be the biggest or most knowledgeable Eurythmics fans here but I`d safely state that this is most probably the best definitive vinyl LP of this Incredible duo!
My copy is well centered free from wraps with zero surface noise ,the mastering is typical 80`s/90`s "Synth-pop" so it can sound compressed at times but nothing too offensive. In my humble opinion it must be pretty difficult to master this sort of sound quality to an "audiophile standard".
A very enjoyable LP and will bring back lovely memories for those of us who were fortunate to grow-up during the 80`s/90`s.
Music:5.0
Mastering/pressing: 4.0 2x 180gm black vinyl
Inner sleeves:3.0 small pictures with printed info but no anti static inner sleeves - so use your own!
Cover:2.5 single cheap card with relevant information
PS.
This LP can (unreasonably) demand a fairly hefty price tag so shop with sense, and DON`T pay too much for a copy! - Edited 2 years agoGreat pressing but there is a slight high frequency roll off, I guess Music On Vinyl had to work with the usual brick walled higher frequencies digital master. That said I have found Music On Vinyl pressings far superior than most these days.
- Edited 3 years agoNearly everything you will ever need in one package. Great remastering by the Music On Vinyl team. The usual complaint with 2LP releases - they need to be gatefold. It’s so damn annoying, and considering it’s a greatest hits, an overview of the artist’s career would fit inside the gatefold artwork - not hard Sony !
