Reviews
- A lovely slice of boogie-funk with a new wave vibe to it. DEFINITELY not house music, regardless of where it was played or who played it.
- Too may caught up in semantics and genre, this is a CLUB record that totally works in a HOUSE setting,House is state of mind that emanates from the Heart.
- Rhythmically this isn't house at all. It has a backbeat for one thing. It's actually closer to sophiti-pop or -jazz. The verse chords have a lovely YMO feel to it. A wonderful slice of early 1980s.
- Why is this classed as a House track? If anything, it's more of a "Dance" track, I don't really hear the "House" element in this one.
- A very, very early house track that was recorded by German-born Bertei in 1983, it didn't chart but it's a landmark song in the birth of house music.
